    Mozilla

    Hey,

    Has anyone tried installing Mozilla?
I want to try it out, but am afraid of the uninstall process. I don't feel like re-installing windows afterwards.

    Is it safe to try?

    Thanks,

Yeah, its dead straight-forward. You can run mozilla, IE and Firefox simultaneously if you want. (if you are a deviant that is )

Don't worry. Mozilla has no connections with Microsoft. It won't screw up your computer.

I can't remember their roadmap, but I think the 1.0 is due in early-mid October.

Wow, I've never had so many people agree with me on a computer-related subject.

    I'll try again:

Apple make brilliant computers don't they!

Me too...I started the day it was released...I think I saw it on an other baord...they was so gald that the version 0.6 was out, so I tested that one and Slimbrowser, and ended up using only FB, and only SlimBrowser when I need a IE look alike browser..

same here. well I think it was a day after .6 was released. I saw a friend using it and I tried it out and loved it.
So, DAMN. you used it a day longer than me.

But I did more good, I installed it on the college servers so anyone could use it. Then I got my account removed for accessing places on the network I'm not supposed to access. The thing is that I put it in a folder called Xfers which had a readme.txt file in it saying "This is a public transfer directory". I mean, of course students weren't supposed to know how to access the servers at all. But if the admins can block access to the admin folder, why didn't they block access to the server? Stupid fools.
