Do you like the *new* TechTV?

i know this happened a while ago, but i want to know your oppinion on the idea of TechTV going to G4TV?

in my oppinion, i think i sucks. i am a very big gamer, but having most of the shows played on TechTV be about gaming i think sucks.

I loved XPlay, ScreenSavers, Tech Live and Call for help. but then Call for help was taken off the air when G4 took over, and i think that sucks.

But.. Is screensavers still there? You only said that one show was gone...

LOL, here in Aus, we got TechTV when our digital Pay-TV service started, and lasted for 3 months until the conversion. Although the channel was good, i didn't quite see the presenters as much more than running ads, and most had no idea.

yes the Screen Savers are still there but they changed everything to play all the gaming shows.

and like you said the archives are one of the key elements of the TechTV website, so they dont offer anthing they have done before it went to G4-TechTV or what ever thy call it.

I have pretty much quit watching tech-tv since it became g4-techtv.

Call for help was one of my favorite shows to watch. I think Leo Laporte(SP) IS TechTV. Without him I hardly watch it at all. I like Screen Savers too, but I like it better when Leo is there. Then there is that Adam guy with the video game show, he's pretty cool, but get that dumb ass chick off there. You can tell she is just reading a script (and badly at that), she doesn't know squat about games.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for decent looking chicks being on TV, but she could atleast show some cleavage!!

we've never had tech tv over here in new jersey, i think you have to buy some special package for it or something

I agree, XPlay was much better when it was Extended Play.

Morgan Webb, I think, was much better when she was on the Screen Savers.

But the biggest thing is Call for Help, that made me verry PO'ed, "Cat" was another key person to TechTV.

It wouldn't supprise me if TechTV goes out of buisness because of G4. They should become different stations, like they used to be.
