I don't know a lot about the Network Namespace (System.Net), so I need a good guides or quality tutorial links.

The stuff in MSDN is a great place to start to learn about things in general. Anything in particular you want to do or are having trouble with?

I know the basics of declaring and using Sockets, WebResponses, WenRequests and Clients.
But I want a professional reference, MSDN Library is good but I want A~Z refrence to fit it to the rest of my VB.Net knowledge...
Anyway if you want to help I want a brief rescription of how to send/receive files, listen to ports and developing a Server/Client based file transmission application.
Thank you

Not sure about a real good reference books, sorry. I've only sent messages (strings, byte arrays) in a client/server app. I've seen other posts about sending files, but again, don't know about a definitive reference.

OK OK,
I'll simplify my situation, or cut it out for a little...
If no one can help me here, please at least give a **sample** of a program that has Client/Server sides, and the server listens to a specific port whic the client can send string expressions.
Pleaaaaaaase

MSDN. Look for the topic "Synchronous Client Socket Example" and it's server counterpart. Also, the asynchronous examples, if you're interested in that.
There's enough code there to put together a client/server app, with great explanations.

Woow this is really great ! !
Thank you Mike Hildner, very much.
I have learned to lighten the filters of my MSDN search....
Moderators can now close the topic, it is resolved.
