    Fun jobs for experienced coders...NOT

I am a desk jockey, a mouse potato, a lazy fat b*stard in other words.

I object to walking 15 miles a day with my head tilted back 90 degrees while examining multi-storey car-park soffits. If its not that, then my head is staring at the floor or crawling around under cars looking for cracks. I have not received a pay rise and I am not a happy bunny.

    Think yourselves lucky.

Thank god I'm back at my lovely snug VS-IDE tomorrow. Then the following 3 weeks its back to the rinsing tramp's piss off my tape measure!

    ****.
I don't live here any more.

It's a good question, my job description offers no edification.

I'm in civil engineering, started as an archivist, then wangled my way into writing software for them and then they said I should get some engineering experience (cool!) so they send me out on site every now and then to do structural surveys and stuff like that (and I also get to go out with the delectable DW at work too!!!! Sweet). To cut a long story short, I help to stop buildings falling over.

You should blow up a building.

Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

    I agree.

Watching buildings fall down is much more fun then watching them stay up.

So you get to goto some dark desolate buildings with DW do you? Anything more interesting than that??

Try blowing this up. Imagine the puff needed.

Your lucky to go out once in a while. I am stuck in an office with tin foil over the windows

    Whats so strange about that?

She is DW for a reason! I can take her to the pub with me.

She likes bikes, yes, whips? Dunno, maybe I'll find out, it's my birthday next sunday
