It looks better with black. I'm removing the black right now, but it doesn't look too good...

it wont look goos due to the fading at the edges.

Sorry... can't remove the white part. It's too jagged without it.

You're better off with the black.

If you got Photoshop, you could try getting rid of the excess, then putting a nice drop shadow on it or something to cover it up.
