Sleep mode
FTP downloader ??
Any one knows FTP program that connects on its own and resume downloading file in case connection cut off ? I tried over 4 programs but none of them has this feature .

i used to have one.. i dont remember which it was, but i found it on download.com. sorry i couldnt be more helpful

I've used a program called FlashGet that does something like that, but I think it might contain spyware.
If it does it should be listed in the normal places (SpyBot website & similar I think), if it isn't then give it a whirl - you can get it from loads of download sites.

I'm afraid you didn't get me . I'm looking for FTP browser that traverse folders and download files . I know both programs you suggested but I don't think they can do the job , do they ?

I'm really new to FTP servers . I found an FTP server that offers downloading a lot of stuff for free . The thing it cuts off every 5 minutes (maybe because of traffic ?) . I have to browse the folders to get the files I need . The program I'm using right now works good but when it gets disconnected , it doesn't autoconnect so I have to reconnect manually . What if I'm sleeping.. !

FlashGet has an FTP browser, and can resume FTP downloads.
I didn't use it much myself (and it was a while ago!), so I'm not sure if does exactly what you want, but it's worth a try
