I am going to begin work on a project soon that I might have to incorporate a live update feature in the program that I will be writing in VB 6.0

I was wondering if anyone knows any good resources I can look at....including books or web sources that would give an example of this kind of thing....

What has to be done is to have a utility that checks a server to see if new or updated files or availible and download them to a users Hard Drive.

Anyone know where I can find some info on this?
