im at 256sdram rite now ....which sux but is quite an improvement in comparison to my other pc which is win98 and 32mb ram
Whats everyones ram? and err how much wud say 1gig cost lol
Would me getting more sticks improve performance (games, etc) and yes im on cable connection. i think i have 1 or 2 slots open

512MB is the recommended amount to have, much above that won't really affect your game performance, 1GB will help Digital Video editing, not so much games though.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

256 MB of RAM is fine. Most people don't use more than 256 MB.
512 MB of RAM will be enough for most systems well into the future (atleast a year... if not more, there's no real foreseeable need for that much RAM unless you do some type of rendering process, video editing, CAD, etc).

HA! I wish it was, my computer only got that and i cry about it every day, it's NOT enough at all

I'm on 2GB, I dought my system ever needs to use the whole thing but it comes in use full for things that use loads of RAM, example: I can get Win Sound Recorder to create a 45min buffer fully in memory. Why I would want to make one that big I don't know though, but my PC should at least be future proof for a while now .
