    updates for VS 2003

    I just installed VS.NET 2k3 and at the end it allows you to check for service releases via the internet. Have their been any? because it fails when connecting.

    I always thought this was not quite right. Whenever I do that, it says it fails on connecting, then when I click retry, it says there are no updates.

    same as me... thats why i didn't buy the message saying there were no updates.. it actually seemed like a bug in the installation files

    Ha, I always thought it was my setup or something that caused that error..lol.

    well im just going to assume there ARE no updates for the IDE as of yet, they would probably be listed on the VS homepage as well and I didnt see anything there.

    i had the same problem...i think it's a bug because even if you try to do it from with in the IDE Help --> Check for updates and it didn't work either gave me the same message again.

    There are some updates, if you look at my last post on this thread, I posted a link to them. There are about 3 or so I think...
