    Laptop keeps crashing

After I re-installed Windows (xp home) it worked well for about 2 weeks and I now keep on getting the attached error and goes all 8-bit like colors and everything becomes enlarged making it impossible for anything forcing me to restart.

This has happened twice today any ideas? I don't really want to re-install windows again.. I will if I have to.

(in the process of downloading Adaware again, it erased)
    Thanks any help is appreciated.

Have you added any new hardware recentle? As this error is mucking with your display, it may indicate a problem with the graphics card.

I think thats it. It happened to me (not exactly the same) but I would get counter-strike OpenGL errors and actually my problem was that the grafix card was actually dying, not because its new. How old is your machine?

Yeah, it's a Windows error, if you havn't installed the latest drivers yet because you said you only just installed Windows, install them i'd say that's the cause, faulty drivers.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Depending on the GPU on the card, either www.nvidia.com for the NVIDIA GPUs, or www.ati.com for the ATI GPUs.
