    remote log

    Hi, all,

My question is actually not so related with VB. As there are many expertises in this forum, I wish I could get some help.

I have two PCs: p1 and p2. p1 is a remote machine and p2 is just in front of me. I have access rights to both machines. I wish to log on p1 from p2, display p1's desktop on p2's monitor, and do some work just as if I am working on p1. Could anyone help me?

    Thank you very much.

If they are XP machines, use REMOTE DESKTOP (RDP).

If they are 2000 machines, I think it's Terminal Services Client that does that.

You might have to enable remote connections.

Otherwise there is a product called PCAnywhere - but it's pretty terrible compared to RDP.
