Seen ghosts? or a strage presence in your home/work/whatever? I for sure havent, but Im sure a lot of people have had this kind of encounters, please share....

Yes. A friend of mines house had this problem of their attic window would not stay closed. It was spooky. We would close it and go outside at night and watch as you see something in the window you couldnt quite make out then it would start to open.

No one was in the house.

Another:

Christmas morning when I was like 12, I got up to goto the bathroom around 6 AM. I could see what looked like something moving across a light that my parenbts had left on in the living room after setting up the 'Santa visit'. I checked, parents were asleep. And Im sure it wasnt Santa.

Ive been to a haunted bridge, where when you get to a certain spot, you can feel a cold chill go ove your body. Creepy.

There's a house I've been to that's for sale. This place is CREEPY. Okay, first of all, when you enter it, there's this wall that is obviously meant to hide something behind it, and is horribly made. Then you go up two flights and in the attic, they have this HUGE dining table. Why would they have a huge dining table two flights above the room where the kitchen is?

Well, one day me and a friend went there to check it out--I had to show him. Well, as we went up the stairs we just suddenly felt this malignant presense enter. We just felt it. It came on right as we started going up the second flight of stairs. Both our instincts were to back off.

Sounds dumb, but it's creepy.

My favorite ghost-related place visited is one of the world's oldest churches in Jordan... I don't remember the name of the city.

As you walk towards the main area in the church, the presence of spirits or the energy is so overwhelming, that you actually feel suffocated and choked. (It's an effect used well to add to the overall experience... what with god and all that stuff... But the thing is... spirits are generally attracted towards hallowed ground)

The caretaker I talked to there mentioned that things being moved around are among the most common things that occur there.

I saw nothing happen, but of course... when you feel something of that magnitude, you know it's something.

although not everyone can feel this, maybe its ralated to levels of awareness/energy, can you elaborate mendhak?

One of the theories (which seems to explain quite a lot), is that after a person dies, their energy remains. It always remains, for everyone.

It may be powerful for some, which is why you feel it. If the person was religious in their lifetime, then they will feel more comfortable around religious structures, like churches.

Then again, they could stay in the place they were buried (graveyards), or return to the house they lived most of their life (macai's place).

And the rest... well, they could be roaming about anywhere. There's probably one in your room right now. Right next to you.

Anyways, the explanation for the existence of the energy is a whole different matter. You must have heard of the Chi energy, Earth Energies, etc, or basically the theory that every living thing possesses a certain amount of energy which they can manipulate or manifest in certain ways.

I was once chased by Freddy Krueger, Hannibal Lecter, Pinhead and Barbara Streisand. I was in my pyjamas and running through water and they were only walking normally but still keeping up with me.

I'm 99% sure this really happened but there's a slim chance it was a dream.

Streisand then began to sing but I woke up just in time.

I've never seen a ghost before. I have been told that when a spirit passes through a human body you feel extremely cold for a short time. I often get that feeling.

I can also sometimes feel the presence of my Grandad who died nearly 9 years ago. I may be just imagaining it but I am quite sure he's still around somewhere.

I walked into this small room at work once, and I felt an incredible chill race through my body. Just then, the lights went out, and it was dark, still, and icy cold. Man, what a creepy place. I could feel dead things all around me, as if, were I to reach out, I would touch a cold dead body.


















But it was just a walk in freezer full of frozen carcasses, so I opened the door and walked out.
