    Win98 on Athlon 64

    Can Windows 98 SE run on a computer that uses an Athlon 64?

    I don't know whether it can for a fact, but as all 64 bit processors have backwards compatability with 32 bit processors, i can't see why not.

    Actually, my main priority is upgrading my graphics card from a Voodoo 5 to a Radeon 9600XT. I could probably get the processor from the same place while keeping under my $500 budget.

    The new OS would bring me over-budget.
