Have you considered that a lot of the "indigo child" phenomena is merely a fad? I don't dismiss their existence, but I am aware of how a fad can spread, especially in this day and age.

No, to me it is certainly not a fad.
I met this chilean guy at college, he is an Indigo. After hanging out a couple of times he told me I had the traits of one. After doing some research I found I had 99.9% of the traits. Almost as if that list was written about me. Its helped me understand myself better and I hope by having that link in my signature it can help others.
Software development is a profession for highly creative people, so Im sure a lot of people here will benefit from this information.

I don't doubt the existance of Indigo children. What I do doubt is whether the points that characterize an Indigo child can really be applied or not.
Do you know what Barnum Statements are? In case you don't, they are basically statements that are rendered so vaguely that a person attempts to relate or bring some truth to it. It's a very common tactic employed in Horoscopes and by Psychics.
Getting back to Indigo Children, a lot of the statements about them are very vague Barnum Statements. If you were to write those questions as a quiz and post it on a forum, a lot of people, wanting to believe that they are Indigo children, will answer in favor of racking up the points. While I too, have met Indigos, I have also met wannabes and pretenders.
A long time ago, I studied about Indigo children and found that I matched most points except two or three here and there, which is why I have been in doubt as to whether I am one or not. The points that I didn't match up with were about the rage and the illness. I am generally weak, but never sick. And I used to have a temper.
Perhaps you can tell me how to determine my position, I'd really appreciate that.

Yes Ive heard of Barnum tactics and of 'cold reading'. Believe me, if anyone in a skeptic its me. Agreed, some of the points in the list are vague and are preceded by "may". The one that convinvinced me, and freaked me out a bit, was
* Indigos may be electrically sensitive. Some kill wristwatches and street lights
may switch off or come on as they move under them. Electrical equipment malfunctions and lights blow out when they are stressed.
When Im angry some streetlights go off as I drive or walk under them. Ive also have had my share of premonitions and phychic experiences.
I wish I could do more for you, but I dont have all the anwers for myself yet! Have you heard of Kirlian photography? Its a photo of your aura. I am trying to find somewhere I can have one taken. Why dont you do the same?

Yep, had those. I do not discuss those openly though. Ever had the feeling that some people simply aren't "ready" to listen?
Yes, I know about Kirlian Photography. You could also try viewing your own aura... it's pretty simple if you have patience. I can try finding someone who does this, but where I'm living, we don't even have the Internet!
