    formatting text within textarea

    Hi Guys,

    Got a question about formatting text within textarea. I've got a mini multi-choice quiz done in HTML. There's a question, the options (radio button options) and a feedback field using textarea.

    I'm using JavaScript to populate the textarea according to which option the user clicks. Is it possible to bold or underline certain words within textarea?

    Can anyone help?
