I was curious the nationality of most VB programmers. I know most are from US, England, Austrailia and India. If you are from US, you can be American, Asian, African and ...
I am American.

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! Rugby League world champs.
Sorry can't resist this one. And we seem to have the democratic process pretty well sorted. Gotta problem with that? I'm sure we could figure it out in a florida court.
Worlds greatest democracy? Hmmmmm.........

I have never quite understood how it is that citizens of the USA are American + Whatever and the whatever comes first.
I'm English, Irish, German with some French, Welsh, Scots and Danish thrown in. That takes me back about 40 generations...
But I would always describe myself as English or British.

I do apologise, it wasn't meant in a religios / non religious way. hmm, what might I have meant
oh yes, I was talking about my grandfather who got shipwrecked and swam to shore, he crawled out of the sea into France and grew vegetables, (Legs was short for Legumes) He didn't want to be french because that would mean he would have to stop washing so he decided that he was Fishish because that was his favorite food.

Aussie, but basically built of mongrel stock. If it's west of Turkey, I've got it - chuck in a bit of the local indigenous mob into the brew, and a long-ago convict past.
Basically a mixed bag, but living in the best little hum-dinger of a country known to man.
(I've never understood why the poms decided to send their convicts here, instead of the rest of them up and leaving old blighty to the convicts and moving to Oz. Stupid, very stupid)

Do we care?

Actually....my eyes are hazel.
You don't see Californians giving their electoral votes to that smarmy Bush! Unfortunately, it looks like he's going to take the election anyway. We really need to fix the process. I about had it with people (Americans) who do nothing but complain about how screwed up our country is. They don't lift a finger to fix the problems. You hear them spout about "My country right or wrong". What they either don't know or seem to forget is that the entire quote is "My country, right or wrong. When right to keep it right, when wrong to set it right"!
