Not NoteMe
Put your XP cd in the drive, restart your computer and boot from the CD. It'll have options such as 'repair'
Quotes:
"I am getting better then you guys.." NoteMe, on his leet english skills.
"And I am going to meat her again later on tonight." NoteMe
"I think you should change your name to QuoteMe" Shaggy Hiker, regarding NoteMe
"my sweet lord jesus. I've decided never to have breast implants" Tom Gibbons

Make sure the boot order is set to boot off the CD first then it should be right. Also, select the second repair in the Windows XP setup phase to re-install Windows.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

btw, XP does have dos, from the run dialog you can type cmd for the XP-ized version of dos, has some newer and easier features, or the original command.com form win 9x is included, you have to type command at the run command.

That's not technically DOS, more of a command prompt.
