Offering Help for an ASP.net application

I have just completed a web application in asp.net and have been informed that I must offer some kind of online help.

Whats the best way to do this ?

There is no way I'm paying £270.00 for that.

Looks like I'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

The answer is obvious... web pages. Possibly, make them in context, so that they can be loaded from a single aspx page, and in a tiny javascript window.

    An example would be:

A tiny question mark icon next to the areas where a dumb user (which would consist of all of your clients) would require help. They click on that, and it pops up a page such as help.aspx?topic=392 which shows them what to do.

    What's a webpage ?
The home of a very sophisticated spider.

    What's javascript ?
    A recipe for making coffee.

    ><>

is that like on AOL those nasty hackers ><> accounts? could I use one of these web pages to do that? or could this .net thing do that for me?

I don't know this for sure, but I think a browser is this thing I'm typing in. And I have aslo read about this stuff called XML Documentation that provides a standard to use for dynamicly displaying help. it even links back and stuff. In C# you can put it right in your code.....

oh! C# is the grade i made in english last term btw......

    ><> from 1997 user: amandak, pass: amandak
that was an easy one..... it was good for 8 months......
of course i never really used it. i just heard from a guy spider1331 that did that he used it for a months to mass mail or some bs....
