Send SMS with VB?

Hi!

Anyone know how to send SMS to a mobilephone with VB? Is it possible to send information to a homepage that can send sms and the submit the info?

Any ideas?

Not exactly the answer you're looking for.... but I use a web service. You e-mail the service from your app, the service forwards the e-mail to a specified moby phone number. I used http://www.genie.co.uk which gave you two e-mail addresses:
1) [email protected] and
2) [email protected]

where the sms would go direct to your phone. Unfortunately they've arsed around and you now have to set up rules to do this. Have a look on the internet though they'll be other services (Yahoo do one but when I tried it it was very slow - I got the sms about 5hrs later; I think it was yahoo at any rate!)

Okay so it's not ideal but it works.
