    Love the English language

Heard a great simile on a classic Canadian TV comedy show (This Hour Has 22 Minutes) that reminded me just how splendid the English language can be when it comes to describing things....like when you are describing a really slimy politician or corporate embezzler (Conrad Black in this case)......

"....more slimy than an eel in a barrel of snot"

let the games begin....who's got good similes and metaphors?

Dennis Miller has some of the best lines, during his rants.

One that I remember is, (along these lines):

"more fuzz than the lint in Newt Gingrich's navel"

Edit: Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I have always admired Americans for their capitalistic abilities to sell just about anything....a yank could sell brass knuckles to Ghandi.

Off the top of my head...

It's like taking a gentle stroll through a luxurious garden while five foot rabies infested rats rip and tear at your flesh.
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.
