installing windows on a basic machine
Hi guys think I have let my self into a good one here.
Im trying to install windows 98 onto a laptop without a cdrom. how do i do this if my comp had a floppy I could zip up the cd and span across a LOT of floppys. however the way i was thinking was via serial cable do I need any thing on the recieving comp because its only bootable to a basic dos prompt.
your help is nice and welcome here

You can use a network, LPT, serial, or other port to connect and send data.

Norton Commander is what I used.
You'll have to find a prog to fit on a floppy.
