udp network programming in VB.NET -- need guidance!

i'm a newbie of vb.net, and i have to rush for my final year project about cafe management system.

is there any references about networking programming, which is related to UDP protocol, using import library from "System.Net". sample of source code would get me more understandable.

btw, is it a better way to apply UDP protocol communication on cafe management system? coz the system should have support more than 50 PCs and the system might be unresponding due to the multiple PC connection problem.
