This VB possible? Set "Details View" as a default in Windows Explorer.
I need a way to set the default view in windows explorer to Details instead of Icon View, via VB script or registry change.
Can someone help me?

You can do it without using VB.
In Windows Explorer click View --> Details then click Tools --> Folder Options, select the View tab then press Apply To All Folders.

Uhm, I have a better idea. Set a folder the way you want. Click on the tools menu->folder options->Like Current Folder.

My suggestion is to download a freeware utility to monitor the
registry. Then after it is started, change the explorer settings
manually like suggested. Check for the registry changes and
perhaps you can find the key where that info is stored and how it
needs to be set to set "Details View" all throughout Explorer.
Then write your VB to change the registry settings to those
values.
