resolve button is shown next to the top post that changes the name of the thread to name (resolved)

This has been asked before...search this section and you will find the answer.

YOu need a hack to do that. And if nothing serious has changed the last 2-3 months, then that is out of the question...

The company that runs these forums also runs dozens of other forums, and when a hack is installed, it has to be re-installed each time they update. So they're not really willing to make any changes unless they're really necessary.

Like Note said, we've already asked for this before, but the above is pretty much the answer we got.

My evil laugh has a squeak in it.

Yeah i think that Jupiter runs three sites. Codeguru this site and developer.com. The resolved button is a good idea i guess. Maybe they will implement it in the future.

many more than just 3. I think Brad posted a partial list but I can't find it. You can however click the 4 links under Jupitermedia Corporation has four divisions: at the bottom of the page and you'll see a bunch.

If you type anything that goes to a JP site and make it 404 error you then you get a whole list of JP sites
