Cable-TV on the computer
Hi..
Is it possible to hook up the digital cable-tv to the computer and decode it, so I can watch all the good channels on my computer?

I don't have cable so I don't know how the cable box works, however, I know you can put in a TV-Tuner card in your computer and run a regular TV cable from the wall to the TV and with software you can watch tv. I've done this and it works well. Whether or not you can go from the cable box to the TV-Tuner in the computer and have it work, I do not know. It would probably depend on the connectors and the software. HTH

Thanks for your answer.
The problem is that there is a different connector on the digital cable and it is probably encrypted too.
If anyone knows that this is possible, please tell me how.

You can buy a cable descrambler box for about $300. The interesting part is that they are legal to buy, sell, and own, but illegal to operate.
