Monopoly Online![UNRESOLED]
Hey folks,
Thats it now I have some time to start a project which i wanted to do for a long time, build Monopoly Online!
Not something big but nice version of Monopoly for lets say 8 people max.
Now about the graphics its not a problem, and the localhost version is not that hard (simple programing), but the tricky part is the online can you advise me what object shall I use?
or what I need to know about it? i even dont know where to start looking
I hope that this subject will be sticky and people will post their ideas here.
For example i thought making it a bit bigger then usual, put more cities, more streets and other fun stuff.
Thenks for your attention
Cheers.

I'd use directx for my networking infrastructure...
Directplay is fairly easy to work with, easy to create, send, and recieve packets. Has built in functions for game lobbys.
What type of graphics engine would you use? bitblt sprite? tile? or try d3d

Hehe, if I only had a clue what you talking about
Actually the graphics are much much simple then you think, I thought for the first version I`ll stick with images and designed buttons
