hi, please tell me if you can solve this quiz:
a person, named "x", has taken 30000$ from 3 persons (y,z,t), 10000$ each. he bought a car for 25000$ and left with him 5000$.
then, he gave 1000$ to y, 1000$ to z, and 1000$ to t, and left with him 2000$.
when redoing the calculation, we see that each person has paid 9000$, all three have paid 27000$. when we add to them 2000$ that were with x, they become 29000$. so there is a missing
1000$.
where is that 1000$

I don't see the problem. He spent 25 000$, kept 2 000$, and gave 3 000$ back. Look likes 30 000$ to me .
Hint:
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

Why don't you divide everything by 1000 just to make the numbers simpler?
That last 1 has gone to the loan sharks. Isaw somthing very similair like this a while ago. Hm.. I'll have to figure this out now before I can settle.

do it in exact reverse order:
he has 2, he then gets 1 from each person
he then sells the car for 25.
he then gives all his friends 10. it works.

10k + 10k + 10k = 30k
25k - car
1k - returned
1k - returned
1k - returned
2k - kept
Total = 30k
However:
10k given
1k returned
9 k total given
suggests that a total of 27k was given.
But you added 2k, it should be Subtracted because the bloke kept the 2k.
