Report: set properties with code

hi!

i am using access2000 and want some fields on a report to be green, white or anything else depending on a value of some values from a recordset.

for example: value is +... => one of the lables/textboxes should get a green background
value is -.... => one of the lables/textboxes should get a red background.

at first, i wanted to set the colors in the OnLoad of the report, but the properties are not accessable.

"ok, lets try some other controlls", i tought and began to try things like pictureboxes and so on.
it still does not work.

i allready searched this forum but can't find anything :/


does anybody of you have an idea or hint?
