VS.Net 2002 Upgrade
I am a student of VB.Net and own a
copy of Visual Studio.Net Professional 2002. I missed MS's
$29 upgrade offer. How can I upgrade now to VS.Net2003 at a reasonable price?

Are you actually after the IDE or the compiler or both?

I, too, would be interested in an answer to this question!

Is there that big diffrence in the IDEs? I know there is some diffrence in the compiler...but that one is free.

Some minor updates to the IDE, don't know how much they are worth..lol. They were worth the 29 bucks, but more?...dunno.

If you're a studnet in a college or school - ask the establishment to purchase it for you under Academic pricing.

Upgrade update
Since I spent the money for VS.Net Professional I can use to make money, I don't want to go back to an Academic version.
A number of programming examples I have downloaded
written in 2003, will not open in 2002. So there is a significant
difference.

I said "Academic pricing" - I didn't say an Adacemid version.
Its the same software, just cheaper for schools, colleges & charities.

academic price
point taken, academic pricing
Unfortunately, that will not be available until Sep
Something about the school can only submit list of students
qualified once a year

You can buy the academic version online. Also it might be available in the campus bookstore.
