    Lightbulb I need help - THE NEVER ENDING QUESTION

    i think most people are wondering why sweety, hotgyal and i keep asking for help ... and if we are guys disguised as girls just to get replies .. well, first of all we are in a highschool in Canada and we are the only girls out of 35 students in this tec class. We have NO IDEA how to even MAKE any kind of game .. basically all term we have been copying codes from a book ( as assigned) and we dont really understand what is going on ( most of the class also .. we have a class ave of around 65 % ) We are simpily asking if anyone can give us ANY ideas for our exam and maybe help us with it ....... and we are girls ! If you want any pics just ask !

    How could anyone say no to such desperation?

    Ideas for a program(game) to make for the exam? Checkers would be really easy. Tic-tac-toe another easy one.

    It could even be the simpliest game in the world. You present a person with choices, and they proceed along a storyline, seeing if they can get certain things along the way, etc. It could be text based or semi-graphical.

    Didn't you deside to make Packman...or am I wrong? Try to search planetsourcecode.com if you want examples. Or look at the FAQ to see how simple it is to make a Snake Game..

    Well ofcourse if they are to use photos to prove they are girls then that would have to be nude .

    Does the game have to be graphic?
    Can't you make a text adventure or something like that?
    That's the kind of games i startet with when i was new to VB.

    I would personally stay away from that due to the complexity involved (unless if you found an easy way to create something like that, cyborg).

    You could always try Battleship or Minesweeper.
    "Can't" and "shouldn't" are two totally separate things.

    Thats a good idea, battleships is wouldn't take too long to do. I thought when cyborg wrote text adventure that they take a rather long time to make, especialliy the levels. I didn't want to say anything becuase I've never really made anything like a text adventure though .
