Interact with MSN Messenger 6 ??

I've spent a few hours searching the internet trying to find some code that works with MSN Messenger 6.x. There is lots of v4 and v5 stuff, but nothing for v6.

I'd like to be able to change my friendly name via code. The reason? I'd like to make myself a tiny app that runs on startup that will change my name to a different one depending on location (ie: at work or at home).

Has anyone found any code to interact with MSN Messenger 6?

have you tried using the examples for the earlier versions? will they not work at all?

Sorry Andy, but Microsoft radically changed the code - they're getting ready for a corporate version of MSN - plus they had to fix numerous security issues i'm sure. All the old code for previous versions doesn't work.

Thanks Pirate. The links were nice, but this one is two years old, so you know it won't work with the new MSN Messenger 6.x. However, the control looks new, so i'll give it a try.
