Hello!
for some odd reason, my vb 6.0 just stopped making .exe correctly or i am doing somthing wrong.....i'm making a program and i want to make a .exe....
after i made the project and all the forms and what not, i click File Save, and i save all the forms in the same folder, and then i go up to File/Make Science.exe (science is the name fo the project)
and it comiples really quickly, it usually should take longer, and then i go to see where it compiled the program and its just a windows file! and i 2x click it and it says open with....whats up with that?
and if i try and go into File/Make science.exe, i don't get that i get File/Make Sceince notmake .exe
Anyone know whats wrong?
Thanks for listening!

Strange.....
Hi,
I heard this problem for the first time.It is strange....
Why don't you try this.Open a new VB,add a command button and write in the click event "Hello".
Then compile this and make an Exe and then see whether it is making Exe or not.
Just try it and see so that we can come to a conclusion from that.
I will be waiting for your reply

Hi,
After reinstallation of VB6 and SP4 all probs seems to be
gone.
I'm using VB6 SP4, Win2000, Acc2000.
Creating my .exe with the package & deployment kit and
no problems anymore.
I suggest to do the same.
Cheers
Ray
