    terminate event

    is there any case in which the terminate event of usercontrol does not fire ?

    Yeah, if it crashes, or the host crashes, or if the computer crashes, or if the computer is hard-resetted, etc.

    Terminate event

    anyway, you can control the use of this object, you can also disable this control by a code in the terminate event using windows API, this is only an information for you.
