    Smtp

    Guten morgen All!

    I am trying to send email in VB using SMTP.. Can any one share
    some thoughts of wisdom...?

    Well, do you have any questions? And - I'd suggest you use winsock and look at the RFC(www.faq.org) for response codes... You could also use outlook for the easy way out if it's just mail sending .

    Outlook email sending presents a problem with office XP...
    Environment changed as a response to viruses being propagated via email... Outlook sees the email app as a foreign body and alerts users and forces them to answer questions before allowing email to be sent... Unacceptable for our users here..

    I need to use SMTP... What is www.faq.org...
    I checked it but it seems...
