Problem...
When I open the "My Computer" or any other folder , It takes about 5 seconds to show the contents (folders , files).
It shows no wait . It complete process quickly but show contents late.
Anybody can tell me , Why is this and how it can be solved .
Tell me Please ...

So Unbanned
Defragmenting your drive rpobably wouldn't hurt.
If that's not it, perhaps your hard drive is failing.

Do you have any mapped network drives?
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

If the graphic card can play the VIdeo games like "Need for Speed" then I think it can show the contents of a folder .

budy may be you have virus..
open search dialog box and search the following files
folder.htt
desktop.ini
if you found a lot of files(more then 6 to 10) then it's a virus
clean it

Since when have folder.htt and desktop.ini been viruses.
These are Windows system files. Folder.htt contains individual settings for directories and dekstop.ini holds the dekstop configuration.
You shouldn't have desktop.ini in Windows 2000 as all this is stored in the registry.
