Sending PMs
I just tried to send a PM and it said:
From The Page Shown
This user's mailbox is currently full, and cannot be sent any messages until it is cleaned out. An email has been sent notifying the user of this. Please try your request at a later time.
Don't you recon it would be an idea if it gave you the message back? It was a really long message and when I press back I get what the box looked like before I started my message. I am currently waiting for NoteMe to come back on line and get my email telling him to empty his PM Box. So I can then refresh the page and hopefully it will send it. That will work won't it?
Thanx

Hehe...I didn't realise it was full.... ...sorry....will empty it now..
BTW it would be nice if I got a message too that said my box was full. If I didn't see this thread, I would miss a lot of PMs....

I have been working on my slow laptop the last four days or so. And Oulook is eating the rest of my system resources. So I am trying to close it as much as I can. And I was out buying new choos anyway... ..
Checked it now. Yupp have 23 new mails from VBForums.com since I went shopping an hour ago...

Was just wondering cos you said it didn't tell you, suppose it would be a good idea if it told you by a PM as well.
Do you get your VBF emails on time? I get mine in blocks, I'll see people reply read the reply then hours later I will get like ten emails together about the one thread becuase I have kept replying so it send new ones. If you get what I mean .

I have Outlook 2000, I used to have it set to check for mail every minute but it was the same case then. I then had it set to 5minutes for a couple of weeks and now I have it to check every half an hour. All these changes didn't make a difference. I'm kinda thinking it could be my host but the thing is it only affects VBF notifications .

BTW just this second got the notification for the second reply you made in this thread. I pressed it to force it to check for mail about 10min ago and it wasn't there then . Also recieved the Notification of your PM at the same time. I might actually delete didsable the notifications cause I've always got the Control Pannel open anyway.
