    Question convex equilaterals??

    The measure of the four interior angles of a convex quadrilateral are x, 2x, x+20, and x+40 degrees. What is the measure of the smallest interior angle of the quadrilateral?

    Talking ok

    Interior angle sum of quadrilateral = 360 degrees.

    You have the four angles, so you can write x in terms of 360...
    find x...
    substitute back to find all angles...
    find the smallest (in this case, = x)

    Quadrilateral has 360 degrees total on inside.
    (x) + (2x) + (x+20) + (x+40) = 360
    2x + x + x + 20 + 40 = 360
    4x + 60 = 360
    4x = 300
    x = 75
    Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

    almost, you missed out one x:
    (x) + (2x) + (x+20) + (x+40) = 360
    x + 2x + x + x + 20 + 40 = 360
    5x + 60 = 360
    5x = 300
    x = 60

    Haha, woops. That's what happens when we have a minute left before we need to leave.
