view xls or word without install office
anyone can help me to get the way can view and edit the xls or word file without install the microsoft office.

If you only want to view, go to Microsofts web site and download the viewer program for each Office application (eg: Microsoft Excel Viewer).
If you want to edit them, use MS Office.

actually i not only view in word or xls, i aslo need to view image like pdf,tif , jpeg and so on. is it h any meathod to get it.
any file type, can view and edit but no need install Microsoft Office in our PC.
HELP!!!

Any file type? Of course not. Every file type needs special handling.
You could browse the Windows registry and see if there's an ActiveX control that handles the file type, but Java is unsuited for both tasks as they are very Windows-specific.

actual not all type, most u need is text file and image file.
for the image is pdf, tif, jpeg
so can got it?
