    Maradona sick - Best football player Poll

    Maradona is sick lying in a hospital bed connected to a respirator, as the football fans out there should know, there is a constant battle over whos the best football player in history....the great Pele or the amazing Maradona!

    I have always wondered how you UK folks feel about the '66 world cup, was that ball inside the goal or not? I see that over and over and I cant say!

    I'm surprised Maradonna only has one vote. That's probably down to <i>that</i> goal. The other goal was sublime though.

    I've never really seen Pele play, apart from a few clips on TV, so I can't really vote for him.

    Oh you gotta see the '70 world cup in Mexico, that was also sublime, the way the entire team played was amazing!


    Strangly, it was also in Mexico, but in the '86 world cup, when that goal took place....

    I guess we need another WC in Mexico, to forget the fiasco Korea-Japan was...
