the mess to clean up after my family visits
because it means I have been surrounded by family....
the taxes I pay
because it means that I am employed.....
the clothes that fit a little too snug
because it means I have enough to eat....
a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that needs fixing because it means that I have a home.....
All the complaining I hear about our Government
because it means we have freedom of speech....
my huge heating bill
because it means I am warm....
the piles of laundry and ironing
because it means my family is near...
weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day
because it means I have been productive.....
the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours
because that means I'm alive....
I'm also thankful for you....
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving

Is that all? Enjoy your turkey.
P.
P.S. I thought I was the witty, passionate, clever, slightly older than 18, sane, level headed one with bags to offer - no? Guess that's what looking after kids does for you. Reduces you to status of 'PARENT'
I'd rather be Dad than sad
have a great holiday, all in the US.
Not nearly so tired now...
Haven't been around much so be gentle...

you've got to beleive me, I am not that bad in person.
infact, I am very quiet, I don't talk much.....
if I even try to be a little sarcastic people get confused, and look at me like one of us is stupid, so I just stopped trying..

I'm glad it cheered you up. I do not agree with you but I have to admire you passion anyway. Not many people really show the conviction you do. Have a great holiday!
