Installing Excel 97 and Excel 2003

At work I have to do everything (VBA) in Excel 97. But, at home I use Office 2003.

I need to do some stuff at home for work. Is there a proper way to install Excel 97 when Office 2003 is in place?

So far I just installed it to a different folder and things "seem" to be fine.

    Thanks.

I run 2000 and 97 at home with no problems. Sometimes both at the same time.

You have correctly installed in different folders which seems to be the key to success.

Microsoft recommends that you install the earliest version first, then work up to the most recent (ie: 95 before 97, before 2000, before XP, before 2003).

But if it works for you as you have it, dont worry about it

Cool.. thanks. It does seem fine so far.

Next time I restore an early image of my system to clean house I'll install 97 and 2003, as that does make a lot of sense.
