Is there a way to make your programs start automaticly when Windows starts? I don't want to add a shortcut in the startup-folder. I want to add the program in the registry (so you can see it when you go to System Information -> System Configuration -> Startup)

You can find registry run at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Create there a value YourProgramName and it's value is the program path. You can look more of it by yourself.
You find on how to edit registry by searching these forums or just by clicking link at top left of this page.
Hope this helps,

Replace the smilies with a semi-colon and a closing bracket, if you put them together you get

They are a result of this
Definately not there by option.
To get rid of them just follow Paul's advice.

It didn't work
VB wouldn't allow ;) at the end of the lines, so i skipped ; (maybe thats why it didn't work)
It registred the key under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\-2147483646\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
