admin chic having flick...

We have a nice admin gal who is having problems with any browser..

Apparently her pc got hacked or hi-jacked in some way so that when she tries to load IE or get on the internet it does NOT work at all...

I even downloaded firefox and installed it on her pc and that too does not open up anything...

But here is the thing...she can open internal pages on either browser but she cannot seem to get onto the actual internet...
She cant ping any sites..but she can see network folders and stuff...is there something in the registry I should be looking for?

I cant understand why she cant see any web pages???

Sounds like the DNS server is missing(check the internet connection settings)... so it isn't resolving.

Hmm she found the problem...downloaded a win sock file..seems to have worked...description said if your pc was hijacked yada yada yada use this...
it worked now...
