Question Please Help Me, I Need Some Help

    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering, I have a Backup CD that I made of some stuff I have on my computer but I would like to be able to change the date on the files.

So what I am looking for is a way to copy the files from the cd to the computer and once they have been copied remove the Read Only Attribute and then change the file date to one that I set (like today or something).

If anyone would be able to help me whit this it would be great. I would also appreciate it if I u caould help me in doing all the files in a dir at one time or something like that so I dont have to do them each by them selves.

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks but I know that Xcopy will do the read only thing and other stuff too but the one thing that it will not do is change the file date, it will copy files with a date older than one that you specify but it wont change it.

The main function I want is to be able to change the date, so xcopy is not very useful to me.

    Any other ideas??
