Visual Studio Vs Visual Basic .Net
Is there a difference? or is it the same product.

visual studio contains the different languages: visual basic, c++, j#, c# etc.
currently, it is Visual Studio.net. 2003: Visual basic.net, visual c++.net, J#, C#, ASP.net

which edition of the studio did you get? there are different "flavors". they range from a standard to the enterprise architect.
