Database distribution confusion?
Hey All,
In my program I have a database, and would like to know what files need to be distributed with my app.
I am using DAO with Microsoft Access 2000, and I reference Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library.
The P & D Wizard listed Dao360.dll, but I have read elsewhere
in this forum that I might need to distribute MDAC, etc...depending
on the OS.
I hope someone can clear this up...once and for all.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Ron

You'll need to include MDAC if you're using ADO in your project.

Also, beginning with version (mdac) 3.5 or 3.6 DAO library was excluded from MDAC, so that's why you might've heard a different opinions.

Hey RhinoBull,
So, since I am using DAO to connect to the database, all I need
to include is the Dao360.dll file...... is that correct?
Thanks,
Ron
