Is the extension cmc used by any other program you know? I've just finished making a program, which merges multiple pictures together (preferrably scanned pages of a book or comic) into the same file.
This file which all these pictures are merged into, has the extension cmc. I just want to know if that has been taken or not, because I am giving it to all my friends (because they think it is such a wonderful idea).
Thanks.

Any ideas on what it could be? I want it to be 3 letters, and have at least some relavance to the word comic.

I think almost nobody uses 'Chaos Music Composer'. Why don't you just use that extension?
You can also use an extension that's 4 chars long.

CPF?
Compressed Picture File?
Or what's your prog named? You can name it after your prog then!

cmc. So what if another program uses it? They should learn to live with it

CPF - I've seen that somewhere before...
CIC I like
CCM I like
One of my friends I am planning to give it to is a DJ, he composes techno music from all sorts of different software, it just occurred to me he might have Chaos Music Composer.
So far my program has no name. I was thinking about calling it something snazzy like "Comic 2000" or "Comic Millenium Edition" mind you both those suffixes have also been taken.

Good thinking theman32x!
I would've never thought of that (seriously). I'm one of those slow people. Once I was stuck with this
Code:
For X = 0 to Len(string) 'string is about 5 letters long
If Mid(string, X, 1) = "P" Then Beep
Next X
I was puzzled why it wasn't working. I checked what the error was and it said something like 'The value or length could be too high.' And then I though "5 letter long strings are too long?".
About 10 minutes later I suddenly realised "Ohhhhhhhh, X has to be equal to 1"

PERFECT!
Sehr gut gemacht, oder für Sie sprechende Leute non-German: "Very Well Done!"
But that DMX might be a wee bit of a problem, but I don't care, I'm going to use it anyway.
