Can anyone tell me how or tell me a good site that teaches direct draw or directx with easy to learn with tutorials. its a mouthful but all i want to do is have like the windows help guides, i want to make a figure pop-up and guide you through the game.

How urgent can a game be!? Well, anywayz i'd like to know a tutorial also. BitBlt just isn't enuff. i won't be satisfied til i have the powerz of DDraw >:)

You gotta wait more than, wait let me correct myself.. WAAAAAAAAYY more than 30 seconds, before someone posts a reply for you.. I know where to get tuts.. but since you guys don't really have the paitence to wait for replys, it really seems useless to give u addresses cause you'll just be 'unwanted' traffic on the server because you won't have enuff paitence to learn directdraw or direct3D.. or any part of directX for that matter.
May be I shouldn't say this, but it really annoys and saddens me to see that people take meaning of directx as INSTANT GAME MAKING thing or something. Even if you do learn DirectX, that won't make you next day wake up, sit down for 2 minutes and then get up and say that you made a game. BECAUSE.. games are not just about directX.. there's more things involved in a game than just directdraw.
