    Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Killed

Good or bad? What'll this do for Israel/Palestine's hopes for peace?

I've read that Hamas' only interest is to take over all of Israel. There's no negotiations and no agreements. Pretty much the only way they'll be happy is that all the Jews are dead and out of "their" land.

Now Hamas is putting partial blame on the US, saying that Israel would not have done this without the US' approval.

Is there any other sh*t lists out there we're forgetting about?

I wonder why the US that was so hell-bent upon removing a government on the pretext of WMDs and (later) humanitarian grounds is doing nothing to prevent Israel from launching such strikes. It seems a clear act of war, entering Palestine and killing its citizens. So Hamas is perfectly right in thinking that Israel has backing from the US. Apart from merely talking about some roadmap, the US government has done pretty little to actually put an end to the acts of provocation from the Israeli government, through words and through actions.

But then I guess the new mantra is what another member has expressed elsewhere : If you mess with us, we are going to bomb you. Period.

Why would the US want to prevent the killing of a terrorist? Maybe we should have UN sanctions agains Hamas and then you will be happy? Do you live in this world or somewhere else?

This should not have been an assasination.

The gent should have been put on trial. Israel was lazy.

honeybee I can't believe how much you hate the US. We do something in Iraq and we're wrong. We don't do anything in Israel and it's our fault their Saruman the White leader gets popped.

NotLKH: Israel had this guy in jail but released him in exchange for two Israel agents. Israel capturing and holding this guy would've been a huge liability and opened doors for Israeli forces being taken as POWs.

Since they had him and released him as part of an exchange deal, then terminated him, I forsee a little more tit for tat coming along. Now the other side will likely start terminating agents indescriminately, at the very least.

Things are going to get bloody {err, bloodier}.

Nope. They should have kept ahold of him and put him on trial, and perhaps instead offered money for the agents.

If his recapture would haev led to such action, you should be able to work out the complications of killing him.

And of course, since the mighty US of A doesn't do anything wrong, you wouldn't find anything wrong that the US indeed did everything wrong in Iraq and didn't do anything right in the Middle East. I don't blame you

Time will tell what mistakes your government has made in Iraq and in the Middle East, but only by then you won't be in a position to correct them. These conflicts are going to get worse and are going to wreck more countries than Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am more than sure the Christ and Allah are both beyond any bother as far as these conflicts are concerned.

Proof there are no Hamas loving, Jew hating people in Iraq. You don't have to kill them, just educate.
