syntactical
Hi Wossname,
"It amazes me that you can even spell mathematicians, let alone grasp the rudiments of cartesian geometry given the state of your posting. Ok, so English might not be your first language (or your second even) but "u r !" is clearly inadequate syntactical parsing on your part. The fact that you seem to have access to a computer, is one that I find rather disturbing.
[sarcasm]
We all clearly aspire to a intellectual plane such as the one you seem to be occupying. And I apologise for personally not being interested in whether or not you find a solution to your rather strange problem. I hope you find an answer to your mathematics question though.
[/sarcasm]"
The danger in a vitriolic attack like the forgoing is that it may include more errors than were in the object of the attack!
"cartesian geometry given the" should have a "," after "geometry".
" syntactical parsing". Neither word is appropriate. You are trying to use "syntactical" as an adverb, or "parsing" as a noun. Also, "parsing" is totally inappropriate - "abbreviations" is the word required.
"(or your second even)" should be "(or even your second)" -Some people would prefer "," either side of "even".
" to a intellectual plane" should be " to an intellectual plane"
"be occupying. And I " NEVER begin a sentence with "And".
"I hope you find an answer to your mathematics question though." should omit "though".
Having thus said, I expect I have made some equivalent grammatical errors.
Noting that this is a Maths Forum, I would have thought that "U R " was perfectly acceptable.
